Install Opera 45 on Ubuntu

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Opera 47 on Ubuntu:

$ sudo apt-get update

$ gdebi opera-stable_45.0.2552.898_i386.deb

Install Opera using RPM


$ sudo apt-get update
$ wget https://download3.operacdn.com/pub/opera/desktop/45.0.2552.898/linux/opera-stable_45.0.2552.898_i386.rpm
$ rpm -ivh opera-stable_45.0.2552.898_i386.rpm
