Apple Is Fixing iPhone SE, 6 Και 6 Plus iOS 10 Ενημερωμένη έκδοση, T-Mobile Says After 'Embarrassing' Network Connection Issue

The launch of iOS 10 for T-Mobile’s iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices is a complete failure, for now at least. The major carrier recognized Thursday that updating the said iPhone models to Apple’s latest mobile operating system would cause network connection problems.

The Verge, which has called the issue “embarrassing,” reports that iOS 10 was launched on Tuesday, but problems with the OS were instantly felt within the first hour of its arrival to Apple devices, especially on T-Mobile running iPhones that are subscribed to the carrier’s T-Mobile One unlimited plan that promises unlimited music and video streaming.

Users who were first to install the update on their devices reportedly complained that their network connection was lost. Το iOS 10 update is version 25.1 for T-Mobile users, so it was initially believed that the problem was not on Apple’s end. Ωστόσο, T-Mobile CEO John Legere has since quashed this belief saying that the problem was not on their end.

Taking the matters to Twitter, Legere reportedly announced that Apple is already working to fix the problem with the iOS 10 for T-Mobile customers. The carrier’s CEO also advised owners of iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices to skip the carrier update as of this time, as per MacRumors.

Legere has also offered a temporary fix for iPhone owners who have already installed the new update and it is to power down their handsets and restart them every time the network connection is lost. Since Apple is expected to roll out a fix within the next 24 για να 48 ώρες, this would entail a lot of restarting on the users’ end.
